DEADLINES:
2010 Fall Breeding Stock Sale
- ENTRY FORM: August 14, 2010 -- All entry forms along with payment ($1,000/horse) for all horses entered need to be received by the New York Breeders Sales Company, Inc.
- Jockey Club Registration Papers: October 1, 2010 -- All registration papers must be received by the New York Breeders Sales Company, Inc.
- COGGINS: October 1, 2010 -- Each horse must have an E.I.A. or AGID test. Each horse in the sale must have an individual certificate, dated within six (6) months of the sale with a negative result. The form must identify the horse by sire and dam, or dam, sex, color and age. Each form needs to include the veterinarian’s signature and results.
- EVA: October 1, 2010 -- It is recommended that All horses have an EVA test on file with us dated within ninety (90) days of the sale.
Breeders Cup and State Bred Certificate: Breeders Cup and State bred certificates need to be sent to the New York Breeders Sales Company, Inc. if not attached to the Jockey Club Certificate.
Health Certificates: Horses traveling to the sale grounds from outside the state of New York must be accompanied by a health certificate.
SELLER'S CHECKLIST:
As our 2010 Fall Breeding Stock Sale approaches all sellers should keep in mind a list of things that need to be completed and submitted to the New York Breeders Sales Company, Inc. prior to the sale.
- A completed entry form
- A check for all entries ($1,000/horse)
- Jockey Club Registration Papers
- An Agent Authorization form (if applicable)
- A Coggins certificate dated no earlier than six (6) months prior to the sale- An current EVA test dated no earlier than 90 days prior to the sale
- Breeders Cup and State bred certificates (if not included with registration papers)
- A health certificate for horses coming from outside of New York State.
